Happy 4th of July Challenge!

Happy 4th of July Everyone!!

As we watch the amazing firework displays, eat ice cream, and get together with friends and family, let's take a moment to remember what we are really celebrating. We are commemorating the brave stand taken over 200 years ago by men and women just like you and me. Instead of doing the easy thing and letting the injustices they were experiencing continue to take place unhindered, people like George Washington, James Madison, Paul Revere, and many others
whose names we do not know, did the hard thing and stood up for what they believed in.
Let us follow their example in our modern day world. Whether at school, home, work, or any place else we find ourselves challenged, lets remember the Founders of this country and take a stand for what we believe. This is not to say that we should be obnoxious and annoying, or so completely prideful and stubborn that we will never admit to being wrong. Listening to what others have to say is extremely important. I believe that this is a challenge that everyone, not least of all myself, should take to heart.
God has a calling on each of our lives. It is our job to listen for it and obey even when it’s the last thing we really want to do. I find that extremely challenging for myself. Thankfully, God doesn’t ask us to do these things on our own. In fact, He often calls us to do things that are impossible for us by ourselves, in order that we might rely upon Him for our strength. Let's not miss the amazing opportunities God places before us. They will be unbelievably rewarding!! If not now, then later. :)

Happy 4th and God Bless!
P.S.  There is a slight change of plans as far as my Etsy shop goes. Due to "construction" delays, the grand opening of my Case for Washington shop has been postponed until next week.
