For those of you who haven’t
noticed, I tend to have a rather strong opinion about some things. In a
previous post I wrote about the 1st Amendment and now I am writing
about the Parental Rights Amendment. This amendment isn’t actually...

Animal Farm
Back to the books! One of my recent history readers was Animal Farm by George Orwell. This
short, classic book of American literature is an amazing allegory on Communism.

True Interpretation of the 1st Amendment
Well, coming off of talking about the American Heritage Series I decided to post an essay that I wrote for school that reflects some of what is discussed in the DVDs. This is a topic that I feel strongly about and wish to see corrected in our country. Happy Reading!

The Book Lists are Out!
O.K. since I can't talk about every book that I have read, I have compiled lists of my favorites. These are now in separate tabs according to age group. Reading is definitely a hobby of
mine. There are so many things to learn and virtually all of them can be found in books! Some of the selections are historical fiction, others are more
informational, and some are just entertainment reading but I have
thoroughly enjoyed each one and I hope you will too! There are also many titles that I have read far past the suggested age range and still found to be delightful. Happy
Reading and God Bless!

Glad to Be Back!!!
I don’t know about you, but it seems like every holiday
season, normal life gets put on hold. I feel like I’ve been thrown into a whirling
time vacuum and any resolutions of having a calm, relaxing Christmas get tossed
by the wayside. It's all very fun, but it's also rather dizzying. About January 2nd, I begin the process of
recollecting all the pieces that seem to have fallen into a jumbled heap around
me. As I continue to get more organized, I have a chance to look back on the
memories I made last year and thank the Lord for all He has done for me. I enjoy Christmas and New Years immensely, but I am glad to be back in a "normal" routine again.
Along with being back in school, I am also getting back onto
my sewing schedule. I’m happy to be back at the machine and making more pillow
cases and boot forms. At some point in the near future, I hope to be adding
another item to my shop: water-bottle carrier straps! These small, lightweight, compact-able straps are designed to loop over the shoulder and attach to a
water-bottle for easy carrying. My mom loves these things because it means she doesn't have to carry all our waters around
in her backpack everywhere we go; instead we carried our own! They really make life easier so keep an
eye-out for them at my shop: www.etsy.com/shop/caseforwashington!
God Bless!
